"A detailed micropalaeontological study of the Mishrif Formation in the Buzurgan, Fauqui and Abu Guirab oil fields in Iraq has provided a new species. . . Carinoconus iraqiensis n. sp. is formally described from on-shore cored sediments of south-east Iraq, where it occurs in Middle to Late Cenomanian platform deposits. . ." (from Abstract).
